Two of the best photos of the Large Tortoiseshell we have ever had submitted to Corfu Butterfly Conservation have been sent to us over the last few days. It shows that they are on the wing right now and they are in near mint condition.

This remarkable image has just come into the corfubutterflyconservation.org website, from George Kaloyiannis. Thank you for the record George, this is very valuable. It's wonderful that George and Katerina Kyriaki, have taken two of the best photos we have ever had submitted of the Large Tortoiseshell. It shows that they are out right now and they are in near mint condition.

Recording spectacular occurrences like these are just what the corfubutterflyconservation.org website was set up for!

Well done, George!
