There has been a major new development for the website. It is now possible for you to record any of the stages of the butterfly/moth lifecycle. Of course for some this will mean looking back over their old records and photos to record those eggs, larvae and pupae that they couldn't enter before

The website now allows you to record butterfly/lifecycle stages other than just the adults you see on the wing. The program that lets you submit your sightings has a field against each species that can be set to Adult (the default), Egg, Larval Web, Larva or Pupa. If you have old records of any of these lifecycle stages then we would love you to record them on our website.

This information will be invaluable for the Corfu Atlas that is under development and, in many cases, it should reveal more about the timing of the lifecycle stages and give some clarity about the number of generations of individual species.
